a filipinos way of celebrating halloween

i feel a great awe every time i see on television the americans way of celebrating halloween with trick or treats house party with pumpkins which depicts halloween but while sitting with an american photojournalist lastnight ive learned that if there were people who have not appreciated the philippine holloween theres no other that filipinos yeah thats right for me it was boring but he told me that holloween here is way too different with of course our local version of pumpkin aside from that instead of spending too much money for music and lights for a party we do candle lighting first with a prayer for the souls of the dead and after that its time for the party one thing that we filipinos were known for is the overflowing native delicasies that we serve on this day hence we share sweet delights both with the living people as well as the souls around eheheehehe!!!! and what i love about this day is the spooky ghost stories around
